“Compared to some other games of this genre in the past, the game focuses more on ordinary everyday life,” says Neostream. I’ll feel right at home in Little Devil Inside. Navigating the seas was one of my favorite things to do in The Wind Waker. After that, the hero is on a boat sailing through stormy ocean waters in an obvious fight to reach land it was at this point where it all made sense to me: I really want this game. Moments later, he’s in the desert, battling (read: shooting) weird looking enemies riding weird looking animals chasing his awesome looking steam punk-like vehicle. #Little devil inside kickstarter full#The trailer, which clocks in at about 3 and half minutes, had my full attention within 30 seconds, where by then a lone character was shown waiting at an outside train station, surrounded by nothing but deeply wooded areas, a few lamp posts, and the faint light of the moon. “Although it sounds elaborate, it all makes perfect sense to us.” “Little Devil Inside is fundamentally an exploration focused survival action RPG game,” says developer Neostream via Kickstarter. Before I knew it, I was firing up the introduction trailer. So, when the gaming community pulls together to ensure a game reaches the console, I figure it’s worth it to pay attention. One thing is for sure: people want great games on Wii U. I had little zero knowledge of the game prior to hearing that it had been successfully funded through Kickstarter, and that a Wii U stretch goal was reached. Little Devil Inside boasts huge worlds and diverse landscapes that beg to be explored. I’ll be completely upfront - Little Devil Inside is now my 2nd most anticipated Wii U game, only behind Zelda. That game is Little Devil Inside, and it has me floored. A game that I know in the pit of my stomach will be good beyond comprehension. A game that gives me a certain feeling that’s usually reserved for the likes of Zelda or maybe even a new Metroid. Touted as a exploration focused action RPG, the game looks to bring an incredibly deep level of exploration and adventure to Nintendo’s console.Įvery now and then, I come across a game that totally catches me off-guard. There also appear to be additional gameplay mechanics in the form of cooking and fishing (because every game needs to have fishing now). After being successfully funded on Kickstarter, indie game developer Neostream is bringing their amazing looking title Little Devil Inside to Wii U. Self-described as a “stylish action-adventure”, action sequences are clearly Zelda-inspired, with Billy wielding a stubby sword and beating up on monsters. In terms of gameplay, it seems that protagonist Billy is going to be busy. Developer Neostream has put a lot of love into all aspects of the design of Little Devil Inside. When moving around the world map the cartoony style looks like a miniature playset, while moving closer to the action when interacting with objects and characters shows off detailed environments and beautiful lighting effects. It may have even answered the question: does Little Devil Inside have a release date? You’ll have to check out the trailer to find out! Little Devil Inside State of Play Trailerįirst things first: it looks gorgeous. But don’t give up hope on this little devil quite yet: the most recent Playstation State of Play event showed off a new trailer, and it looks like there’s a lot of good stuff going on. Originally announced through a Kickstarter campaign back in 2015, it did what many Kickstarter games do best, and missed its initial release window. We’ve been hearing about Little Devil Inside for a long time now.
